These 3 does came out into the field at about 7:15 this morning. They where in a strait line walking through the field. Shot all 3 within about 10 seconds with my Remington woodsman .308. 2 of them died in the field and 1 made it just inside the woods. Just got to love it when they don't run away after seeing their buddy drop in front of them. Hope that we can get 1 or 2 more. Great way to kick off 2015!

My grandfather made it. I'm not to sure how he built it but, basically the winch cable is wrapped around a piece of metal on the bottom and is hooked back up to the 4wheeler. So it works just loosing the cable to lower and tightening the cable to raise it. My it really nice to have but, the cable broke on us this morning when we tried to load 2 at a time with it. It was cheaper than buying one, the sell online for about $300.

I would feel sorry for the guy who shoots more than 3 in a day. It would have been a lot of work if it wasn't for my brother and my dad being there to help.

Congrats on the freezer meat!

It actually takes less time to fool with 3 deer at once than it does 3 deer on separate occasions total time involved. I have doe killing days where I can take care of business all in 1 day and in 1 sitting....just not this year.

I know it's easier when you have more deer to grind up and process than, only one.

We are keeping the meat in a cooler. We have 4 deer cut up, just going to wait until the end of the season to grind them up.
