my gunsmith messaged me today that he had a 6mm Creedmoor reamer on order and should be ready for a bbl in a few weeks,,my 243 barrels will need replacing by then and I cant wait to try the 6 Creedmoor,,I think it will be a more accurate design and hopefully barrels will last longer and I wont lose maybe 75-100 fps,,
the 243 is hard to beat ballistically but keeping the brass in shape is a job and bbl life for match type accuracy is pretty short,,but for banging steel the 243 is a heck pf a round,,I will give up a little velocity for longer match accuracy bbl life,,
first bbl is gonna be a Brux 7.5 twist HV .236 bore finished at 30 inches,,should run the 107-110 match bullets in the 3175 =3200 fps range and shoot very small,,
I cant wait,, :super:
