Great Day For Fishing

I finally got the boat out for the first time this year and headed down to Arklabutla. I stopped and bought a few minnows and my license and got on the water but that was as far as I made it. I couldn't get the motor cranked and when I used the trolling motor the mounts broke. I dumped the minnows, loaded the boat back up, and headed home dropping the boat off at the shop. While there I ordered a new cover as well. It turned out to be an expensive fishing trip not to have ever wet a hook. I guess I'll be trying out some of those Fall crappie.
