You can almost set your watch by them. The stand I hunted this afternoon, over 13-years, I have never seen an afternoon deer before 5 or after 6. So I don't worry about it.
5:45, silly little six comes and hangs around while I try to find him in my piece of crap, pocket-size camera. He finally leaves. 5:57, 110-inch 8-point comes the same way. I give him a quick thought and figure why?
I probably have killed 50-deer bigger than him. Why would I shoot him? Later, if he pisses me off, maybe. But I was doe hunting so of course, all I saw was bucks.
