We bought this in case the power went out at our house about 6 years ago. Basically we never used it other than to start it up once a year to make sure it would run good. Starts and runs perfectly. I just added a new battery today. I doubt it has more than 7-8 hours on it. Price is FIRM, cash only. You can price them elsewhere for $1050 - $1150.

Generac is a great company. When my stuff craps out that's what I'm replacing it with.

Its been a great back up. Once a year I hit the button and it starts almost immediately. Run it for an hour, add some fresh gas, then turn off the fuel line so the carb runs dry.

Just like mine. Have had it for 8 years or so, but we loose power 3-4 times a year and have used ours a bunch, have had zero issues with it running everything in the house except heat pump and water heater.
