First time I've watched a deer rub. Saw 5 bucks this morning. Two doe ran by followed by a little bitty spike followed by a spike with one spike that curls down his face (he made the rub) followed by another doe being chased by a buck I couldn't ever tell what was. He ran his doe over the ridge and I never saw him. The first spike ran off to my left but I managed to grunt and keep the little unique one around. He ran straight towards me and rubbed. When he got done I grunted and heard a grunt from the other spike. The unique spike snort wheezed and then they started bumping heads. Meanwhile a little busted up basket rack tried to run off with the does. With all of the commotion I had a feeling there was a big buck near so I rattled. Sure enough on the next ridge over I hear a furious grunting buck trotting my way. The unique spike got curious and went to the grunting... All I got to see was a huge set off antlers running off the baby buck lol. Should I go back in the morning or do you think the deer will be too worn out by then??? Kidding of course :D
