I finally got a stand up this year. Good funnel, cover, and I have shots at both trails. Hunted in this general area last year. Had good luck and had hundreds of sightings. Last year I had more to look forward to as I had a massive 135-140 buck on camera in the area that had been there since the first time we put a cam out in 2010. He may have died of old age, but that is part of it.
Heres my view. It's a funnel between two ridge points. I cleared the dead limbs blocking one of the opening.
Even though I'm usually about 10ft higher, I've never been so well covered and had several open shots.
I will only hunt it five times at most in bow and leave it be till the rut.
