Got new lights

Replaced a dead 4' shop light fixture and got new GE "cool" daylight 40 watt tubes for all 3 fixtures. Now I gotta clean up the room and the junk on the shelves and start seeds in the next couple weeks. The lights look good...brighter than those old GE Plant & Aquarium tubes. should have quite a few hot pepper and tomato seeds started in a couple weeks and plenty of other early starts after that.

No pics this time, but I will post some pics once the seeds are in.

yeah I got 3 shop lights in the 3rd story of our house in my small bedroom and I will be growing some very special and expensive herbs that have a peculiar effect on the mind..... :grin:

kidding aside, I grow a lot of different varieties of tomatoes and need room to grow other things as well like hot peppers, eggplant, and other vegetables and herbs that need to be started before the last frost. I always have extra plants to give away in the spring...to me, that's part of the fun of growing is sharing the extras with people.
