Got myself a flyrod for xmas

I live on the Nolichuckey in Greene co, I thought it would a challenge for smallies, does anyone have advise or experiences to share?

An intermediate sinking fly line and a #8 black wooly bugger along with an across and down retrieve and you will lose your mind forever!!!

PS. there use to be some big trout released in there from the hatchery but that was 25 years ago.

It takes a little yard work without a fly to learn how to cast but then yes, once you catch a few you are "hooked".

FYI, One won't ever be enough. They reproduce like rabbits.
