I have always loved duck mounts, I started duck hunting 2 years ago and my goal was to get a drake woody to mount. Well last year we had a slow day in the blind but one of those days I will never forget. 5 of us in the blind and the birds were not really coming into our hole, we had this one fly by and I shot him, we decided to make some changes to the decoys and the boat wouldn't start. We spent the next hour and a half taking turns trying to pull start with a make shift rope and a wrench. We finally got the boat to crank and when we picked him up I knew then I wanted to mount him. His wing is a little shot up. Not the best pics, but the mount turned out better than I ever expected.
