I did the best I could to try and not think about the mount and fighting the urge to text him every day to see if he was close to being done. It worked some of the time...lol
 
I'm always anxious to get a mount back. It brings back all the memories. I'm concerned about this one though. My taxidermists freezer element went out and my cape was ruined. He bought a replacement from Northern Alabama that was already tanned and ready. He assured me it's perfect. I trust him and his work is second to none so we shall see on Monday.

We found my brother's Buck he shot back in November while we were shed hunting in March and of course the hide was ruined. It was his biggest Buck to date and a perfect ten pointer. Our buddy killed a big buck around the same time and he couldn't decide if he was going to mount the Buck or not so he gave my brother his cape. It is a win win. I am sure yours will look great
