love the style of that mount, I've often wondered if these pedestal type mounts on driftwood or whatever else they mount them on are much more expensive than your typical shoulder mount on a flat piece of wood
 
That mount (at my taxadermist) actually cost the same as if you got the mount on flat board. Ive always got my bucks mounted on boards over the years. Thought i would do something different.

I actually requested a pedestal mount once and I got the pedestal mount but again, it was on the same old flat board. looks like crap to me. lol
