Got mine out

Went yesterday and set my DPs. Set the trails coming to my corn field, some den runs and my barn. Slow night for me. Had 1 pull out and coyotes got to one before I got there. It was alive after daylight but too far back for camera to catch coyotes getting it.

Got my K9 sets in after checking DPs. Some dirt holes, walk throughs, a post set I've been wanting to try and 1 pipe dream sets. Now we wait.

Never had anything get one out of the trap. That's pretty crazy.

I've never had a coon ate out of a trap, but have had several opossums

IMO, lighter trapped areas will need the coons/possums thinned before you have success with the yotes/cats.

Put a couple more sets out this evening where I've caught coyotes on camera last 2 nights.

It's been as slow as I've seen it since setting but a few finally ran last night.

I've had one coon that was mostly eaten and killed before i got there in the morning. I also believe that thinning the coons/possums out first really helps with catching the yotes.
