Ran across this NWTF Ultra in 25-06 at the gun shop the other day and I fell in love. Went back at lunch today and brought it home. Man I am pumped. Cant wait to shoot it. Going to be trying the Hornady 117gr and the Fusion 120gr. Cant wait.

Your right DA. Unlike the Handi Rifle with the 22" barrel, the Ultra in 25-06 has the 26" barrel. Out of all the calibers that H&R/NEF manufactures, the Ultra 25-06 is the most accurate out of the box.

I do not reload yet, which manufacturer offers over the counter accubond ammunition?

Not 100% sure on the ammo but..

Winchester,Federal and maybe Nosler Custom Ammo.
 
Nice new toy! I've got one of the RMEF models in 35 Whelen with the 26 inch barrel and laminate stock. The long barrel really helps with ballistics without being a very long rifle overall in the H&R. I've shot 200 yard groups under an inch with the Whelen and the 25/06 should do as well or better I would hope. Good luck and enjoy!
 
Had a 25-06 just like that one, but with different wood. Awesome shooting gun. Mine would outshoot custom guns. I never shot anything other than Winchester Supreme Ballistic silver tips out of mine. Regret selling, but the guy I sold it to, said it was the first big game rifle he had ever had, that shot like a 22 rifle.
