On my own dirt. Super exciting hunt. Had a small 8 come out, nose to the ground. Saw a tree shaking 250 yards away, wind was still, obviously a buck making a rub. Then 5 m later, a doe zigzagging down a lane, tail flicking - she was in heat, he was behind her. I grunted 4 times as loud as I could. Doe came back out, but he didn't. 5 minutes later he was at the base of my tree. 10 yard shot. He smells my boot tracks, and I counted 9 points and shot. Never seen this deer before, been running cameras 4 years. He had to have chased that doe in. I have a bigger boy on it but couldn't pass him up. My wife's at work- no one to take a better pic! With work, I'm going to be tied up next few weeks, glad to get a rut hunt in with results
