I got drawn for Catoosa this year only one small problem its for Genesis area not bi-color I have hunted bi-color and know the area. I know nothing about the genesis area any help would be appreciate. My hunt is for the Nov. 20th thru 23th Thanks

Lots of good hunting up and down Daddys creek area. I will have to pull my map and find you some good spots. Some real honey holes there. Depends on the type of hunting you like to do.

If you just want some flat walk in from the truck and walk out there are some spots but they are heavily hunted and may or may not produce the best results.

Some of the best sign I have seen have been around Daddys creek but its some hilly rough area. Also up by the Firetower Entrance the first road to the left there is some pretty good action up and down the road but you need to hike in a good piece to find where the big boys are beded down.

You can hunt either side on your permit, you just have to use the genesis checking station if you kill something.

ok that sounds good. PillsburyDoughboy i sure would appreciate any help you could give me on some honey holes!! just PM Thanks

Still have no idea why TWRA splits the hunt quota like that. Both sides are open to the hunter no matter what side you put in for or are drawn on.
Maybe TnDeerguy can help
