Got a new M/L.......

for my birthday from the wife and kids. (T/C Triumph) This is my first m/l and I am not sure on a scope, loads etc. Any help in the right direction would be great!

Nikon buckmaster would be a pretty good scope ,plus it wont break the bank .
I would start out with about 90 grains 777 or blackhorn powder and just try a couple different bullets to see what shoots best.
good luck as that triumph should shoot great with most anything .

Thanks for the info, I have a learning curve ahead of me but I am looking forward to the un-charted waters. I would assume 3x9 on the scope!

Congrats on your new ML. I have found that 110 grains of 777 pellets and a 250 gr Barnes TMZ shoots the best for me. As for optics, 1.5-5 or a 2-7 would be great.

Just finished sighting mine in after trying several loads, powders, and bullets i've settled on 245gr powerbelt tip with 777magnum 2 pellets. Groups at 50 and 100 perfectly maybe one inch difference.
I really wanted to go with 250 gr lead looking powerbelt but 50 and 100yd varied too much with magnum 777 or pyrodex or regular
777 .

100 grains of 777 loose and a TC shockwave is what I shoot in my Omega. Shoots great
