I love the loose trace mineral the best and the deer pound it mercilessly, however I use the blocks on occasion just to slow them down. It takes longer for a block to disappear than the loose which averages no more than two weeks on our lease. the block will go a month and longer at a time. I love the fact the deer really consume a lot of salt so something good must be coming of it. If money were no issue, I would put out thousands of pounds per season on our 3038 acre lease.

The loose stuff is still there, it just goes into the ground. Lasts much longer than you think.
