Not to bad of a hunt today. We treed 20, killed 7. This pic of at lunch before we went out again. Still alot of Dens in the evening, but mid-morning to mid-day was the best times for us. Squirrel are chasing and breeding. Latest i've ever seen the rut!!!!

Good deal. Glad to see another squirrel hunter. I don't hunt them with dogs, but it looks fun. What type of dogs are those? Feist?

Yep Fiest. They work great togather, Sally the one close to me will usally tree the game faster, but prissy, the briddle with watch for the squirrels to timber and follow them very well thru the trees. Prissy will tree her own game, but mostly by sight. This is her first full year and doing great!

The squirrels are still running to dens quick. But we are now getting a few to stick in the trees.....
 
My boys and my Dad have been treeing quite a few Cruff and they too have had several dens. I plan to kill a few myself now that deer season is over! Pretty pups, we have a pair of Treeing feists as well and just acquired a mtn cur that trees good.
