good scope for the muzzleloader?

I'm wanting to scope up the CVA Optima. What do you suggest for a reasonable scope? Can I get something decent for $200.00 - $250.00?

i love the leupold ultimare slame i have on my long range hunter,it was 259 i think,also the nikon buckmaster is a good choice imho, the nikon is around200

For about $300 you can get a nikon monarh ucc 3-9x40. They had been discontinued but are now back by popular demand. I used one for several years on my ml but just recently switched out for better glass with a ml reticle....but cost more $$$$.

The next decent scope is the zeiss conquest at $400 +.

If you are interested in the nikon mentioned above but don't want to pay $300, I would sell you my used one for $205 shipped to your door. It is in perfect working shape except for minor scuff marks from time in the field. It is silver color which they are no longer making. I am reluctant to sell it but it is not being used. One of my buddies wants to buy it but doesn't have the money...lol. I haven't put it in the classifieds but probably will soon.

I like my Leupold rifleman 2-7x33,IMHO its a perfect ML scope..Think they can be had for about $189..Of course I got mine on clerance at walmart for $139..LOL

Vortex Viper 2-7x32. Better than a VXII and you can get them for $170.
