The youngest and I are in the ladderstand. Today has basically been the first day in a week that we can actually see more than 10 yards. It's been crazy foggy up here on the mountain this whole week.
Too lazy here
I'm sitting on the couch. Got up to go and said phooey on it, and went back to bed. 
Still pretty foggy here. Rain supposed to set in anytime.

I never had much luck hunting in fog,!
Good luck buddy! First decently dry day in a couple of weeks and I'm just too wore down to even go!
That makes me feel a little better LOL it's foggy over here too!

Ive seen two small bucks, an 8pt and five slickheads.
Y'all's field reports are making me wish that I'd have ventured out. Going by boat was a poor option for me … didn't want to deal with high flows and floating trees and other death traps. My only option would have been a river bottom spot that is foggy when no one else is, so I decided to not go. Maybe I should have tried, but still doubt that I would have been able to see anything

Had a big eight come in around 8:00 this morning…did not present a shot as he was creeping through a thicket. If not for my cell camera sending me a pic…I would have never seen him due to the fog. Only deer I saw today. This is in East Tennessee.

Afternoon spot... oak flat with acorns falling 100y downwind of some nasty thick stuff that connects 2 major food plots. Hoping they pile out of the thick stuff 30min before dark to grab some acorns before moving to the plots after dark. Good spot for a buck to cruise the open woods scent checking the thick stuff. Another place that gets overlooked on this club because it's right behind the camp itself

Was a decent day. I didn't see hide nor hair of a live deer. My buddy was on up the ridge in the hunting shack and got a nice plump doe.

Was seeing who was going to blink first, me or mother nature..Spoiler alert, it was me. Didn't see anything except the buck and a few does on the way in. Ducks must have been flying though, river area went off around 10 or so.
Hooked trailer up last night but not the four wheeler got up to rain so just got in the recliner still kinda feeling sickly from getting the tooth pulled .

I always take off the first week of December. Over the years I've seen the older bucks moving around this time. Well I took off again this year. Been the worst weather in years this whole week. Can't control the weather I know. But come on Mother Nature. Back to work tomorrow. Entire week off mostly a complete bust.hopefully with this big cool down coming this weekend daytime activity will pick up and fawns and unbred doe's will keep the boys going
