Looks like low 30s where we're heading to middle Tn. Much better than I expected.

Just thankful to be able to go with my 79 yr old dad another year. We got covid in early April last year. And while we doubled opening day, and finished the year with his getting another one, in between those were a 10-day hospital stay for him in which it didn't appear he'd pull through. His stamina still isn't where he hoped but we'll make do.

We're going to the same setup as last year. They like to roost in one corner of a certain field.

Good luck everyone. May you be greeted with a chorus of gobbles

Leaving the house in 15 min with Ethan. Saw 2 large flocks off my farms last night, one with 8 strutters and 35 or so hens. They are only a half mile from one of my farms, hope it isn't too much to ask of them to send over a couple boys for their annual sacrifice !

Gl everyone!

I'm preparing to carry one out. Will take awhile. Gobbled it's head off at 21 degrees.
Congrats!

Already heard more gobbles this morn than 2 weeks in MS. Unfortunately, none are on me and the number of owl hooting, crow screaming, peacock hollering, dying hen yelping racket from 3 sides around me is insane. I actually feel a little unsafe on my private farm. 5 shots so far, none really close.
