Had sausage, over easy eggs and dry wheat toast for supper last night.
Wife bought the maple flavored sausage this time.
I have had it before and it was "ok" but I am just a hot Williams kinda guy.
Last night it was pretty friggin good though.
Got two pieces for this morning left over. :D

Wright's has gone to crap for some reason

Wright's bacon is over $12/lb, it shrinks in the pan, and gurgles out too much water.

My favorite is the meat counter bacon they have at Sprouts. The Kroger meat counter is almost as good, but it shrinks too. But it's usually priced around $7/lb even now, which is significantly less than the stuff in a package

Gilt is a female pig. I wonder if that is somehow bound up with gold plating. Some kind of connection there, I am sure.
