I've been real busy with work over the last couple months and haven't had enough time to spend even half a day fishing. I think my wife has had enough of me being around the house and said she wanted fish and fries tonight for dinner. I headed to one of the local Family Fishing Lakes and in about an hour had 16 in a cooler.
It was pretty easy fishing. I tipped a trout magnet jig head with a piece of red wiggler. The bottom was a 9 countdown. I'd let it hit bottom and slowly reel it in. Several times, the line would still be running out after a 9 countdown and I'd just set the hook. Fun day. The fish are cleaned and on ice. I'll start cutting the potatoes after a refreshing beverage.
