Good day fishing

Pretty good day on Priest today, Sunday Dec 3rd.
Chris Bryant and I caught 128 fish between 11-3:30 primarily jigging 1/4 ounce spoons off the bottom

Those hybrids are, in my opinion, sorta mediocre table fare compared to their white bass cousins. I haven't eaten that many of them, but I think they taste a lot more like stripers, but maybe I'd like the ones I've had more if they were from cleaner water. I cleaned a 6-lb one earlier this year that I caught from a smaller lake, and didn't much care fot it...

They are definitely better if you filet them and shave off the red streak....
But...they are not my favorite fish to eat.

I caught one once. First ever so I kept it for the table. I thought it was pretty tasty.
