Last time I went out I noticed I had a hole in my old back pack which led to some lost items so I lucked up and found this deal. I just opened it up today and it seems worth it. I have to say I'm a $30 Walmart back pack kind of guy so I don't know if it is comparable to other $250+ backpacks, but for $80 it definitely seems worth it
 
I got one and I can say that it is too big for me. If you carry a lot of stuff, it will be great.
 
I handled one of these yesterday at HUnter's Hollow in Tupelo. It's as well built of a pack as you will get for $79. A little on the bid side but it's not overly heavy.

The other day just as I read this post my mother-in-law text and said "need Christmas gift idea" so sent her the link and its ordered. Thanks for the heads up! My current pack is getting older and showing its age. Buddy of mine has a Tenzing pack and is happy with it.
 
Cabelas Elite Scout is the best ever!!!!
Mines going on 25 years and still looks new. I've acquired 2 more online in last year just cause they haven't been made for 15 yrs!!
If you can find one… buy it!
Got my son a small version and they will be passed to him later when I give it up
