Food Plots GONE BY BY

man some of you guys may have read the post I put on here about my first food plot, I posted pictures!! Well after a great start I went back to my surprise a week later and it was nothing but dirt!! I wanted to cry my eyes out! Not sure where I went wrong! I had cameras on the plots and deer were feeding in them a lot but do you think they could eat the whole thing up?? Not sure if that happened or it just died?? There wasn't any stuff brown there, it was just gone!!

Has this happened to anyone before?? Not sure what to do next but reseed it!!

It was a little early to me. The heat can really do a number on a 'fall plot' if rain doesn't come early and often.

I had a bunch of army worms wipe mine out. Very frustrating!!

We planted 6. 5 look great and one looks just like u described. Deer tracks and photos galore. Im going with deer ate it up before the next rain.

thanks for the info!! It has rained like crazy here! I would say 2 days maybe without rain in two weeks!! Do you think it will grow back or should I reseed??

yes the one thing I didn't do was this! When I reseed it I'm going to make one!!

I bet the heat got it man. Mine shot up then, but when the heat hit, it put a major hurting on it.
