This coming weekend is supposed to be kid free. I was looking forward to hunting all Saturday and possibly after church. I'm not bowhunting in the rain so I will probably be watching football.
 
I have it on good authority that deer move in the rain...lol...Last weekend I was only able to hunt Sat afternoon due to daughters tournament and my own games. I have limited days/time to hunt so if there is no lightning, I'm in a tree.

I lost my Mom a few months ago and then lost my Dad 3 weeks ago and my mind was a million miles away. With everything going on I missed the opener as well. First one I've missed since I was 6 and I'm 50 now.

Well bro I will check the shooting house for you. I will at least check stuff, these new hours for me is rough. Lol not use to getting up at 5 am. Going to day shift is a different world for me. Been on 2pm to 1030 pm for the last 16 years.
