OK, after years of putting it off, making up excuses, sickness and other stuff, I am ready to give Fort Campbell a try. I have already sent in and recieved my Area Permitt. I just need some advice.

What is the best area's to try to go hunt? Where are the big bucks hanging out up there..

Any and all info will be appreciated... :)

Learn the rules, don't give up if you don't get in the first time you call in, keep trying! Don't limit yourself to 1 or 2 areas. Keep track of what areas are open every week that way if a new area opens up you know it hasn't been pressured as much as the ones that have been open all season.
Ask around to other hunters there, most will be very helpful. Just don't rely on someone else to know the rules for you. It's very easy to make a unknown mistake and it will cost you.
Be safe and don't settle for a small buck on the 1st weekend! There are plenty of nice deer and some are damn nice!!

Call the office or the game warden if you have specific regulation questions. Office 270-798-2175, US Fish and Wildlife Lead Officer Curtis: 931-472-8730, If you see someone doing the wrong thing report it so we can help the GW's out and keep the lowlife poachers off of Ft Campbell!!

Thank you for the info. I didnt think about keeping up with the areas that are open ....long drive for me so it may just be a annual thing..
