My Encore has always been the most accurate with 3 pyrodex pellets. It's a pain in the butt to clean, but that's what the gun likes. I've tried blackhorn 209, whitehots, shockeys gold, triple 7 and keep coming back to pyrodex 3 pellets with a 250 gr shockwave or 250 gr barns expander. Not sure of velocity but my 1st 3 shots are always inside an inch at 100 yards.
 
bad idea with a powerbelt of that weight. If you want to push them that hard you'll need a beefier bullet like a barnes or a bonded bullet.

Depending on your rifle, i'd go to blackhorn209 if you want speed and accuracy.
 
If you like varmint bullet type performance, go right ahead but i believe accuracy wont improve which kind of defeats the goal of extending your range. Its more likely a bullet that does not fly like a brick has a better chance of achieving your goal. Using loose powder which is easier to fine tune is far more effective too than simply burning another pellet.
 
I tried three pellets once in my Traditions. I was shocked by the increase in recoil. Gun popped up off the sticks and about knocked me silly. ;) Quickly went back to two shooting the 295 grain Power Belt bullets.

Would suggest if you want more speed to use loose powder and work up until your accuracy starts to suffer, then back back down.

I know with my 45 the 3rd pellet made a considerable difference in the amount of drop at 150 to 200 yards. I preferred 777 over pyrodex and switched to blackthorn when it came out. I shot the 223 plantinums and it was very accurate with 3 pellets, just didn't like the performance a few times so I switched to Barnes.
 
I shoot 3 pellets and a 270 grain power belt premium. The silver and black ones. I'm comfortable out 200 and have shot out to 250
