Gobbling really picked up

Finally got some gobbling birds the last two days in Hickman county. Got spanked by nemesis yesterday and had to work today, but heard several when I walked to the car. I know where I'll be in the morning!

I have 2 long beards behind the house that are gobbling all day long then you go to the farm and they gobble on roost and then maybe 2 to 3 times when they hit the ground and quiet the rest of day

Past two days gobbling has really intensified here and birds are willing to die as well. I've killed 2 in 2 days which basically charged me

Absolutely! With the lack of crowds on opening weekend I was very pleased and I'd bet we'll have even less company this weekend.
