Not really on the job, but we had a delay this morning before we started the lawn care, so I went and snuck on some turkeys that were on the farm and shot this tom.

Williamson county is off the list, now to get one in Maury and maybe one other county if I have time

You're a killing machine Cat. Congrats on the Tom. I actually heard some gobble on the roost Saturday morning. I guess they were confused.

Good deal! I just pulled a camera card and had some great turkey pics. I have a dozen long beards right in front of the camera fighting.

I hear em gobble every year in October. These toms were in a big wad strutting around behind the flock of hens and poults. They were too bunched up to get a clean shot at one. I passed on the hens checking me out at 10 yards. When I finally had a tom separated, I yelled and pulled a quick shot and got up to see no dead bird on the ground... I had to go into the woods and cut the distance on a couple of the birds that had stayed in the field. One of them saw me half way crossing back to the field and I shot it while standing on the wire fence.
