I'd use it just like round up. Temp and sunlight shouldn't matter. I've killed trees by back and squirt with glyphosate in freezing temps

All gly-4 is now basically rain fast. aka, when you leave area that has been sprayed a rain will not hurt you. My current label is "Makazi", priced at $14.00 per gallon or $3.50 per acre on a 32 ounce per acre rate. Cooler weather will slow the kill down due to the fact that many weeds/grasses are not growing very much in cooler weather

Where do you get it for $14 / gallon?

I think the instructions say something like 30 minutes after spraying that rain won't wash it off. From experience that is correct. It works best too if the plants are growing a lot. Warmer temperatures or a week or two after mowing are good times. But I sprayed a lot of fencerows and edges the last two weekends and it's working.

The CO-OP in Franklin county sells generic glyphosphate for about $40 for 2 1/2 gallons. It used to be Cornerstone but it's something else now. Both are 41% concentrated.

Just curious....to get it for $14 per gallon are you buying it in a 30 or 50 gallon barrel?

I'm paying between $40 and $49 for 2½ gallon jug....but I see a 30 gallon barrel at Rural King advertised for $374....that would come out to just under $13 per gallon.

It's $34 for a 2 1/2 gallon jug at my local co-op.

$34 is a good deal.....$39.99 is cheapest I've gotten it but hadn't checked price lately.

Considering splitting 30 gal barrel next year with buddy of mine....my half being 15 gallon at $13 per gallon.... between food plots, fence rows, gravel area around barn and driveway I'll use it..... driveway is 3/4 mile long and I've got a portion of fence row I need to reclaim.....not a fan of running weedeater this time of year.

And if any is left over I'll save it for following year....I'm using leftovers from last year now..... working great.
