I am fast approaching 50 and my eyes are "failing", how many of you use glasses when you hunt? Would it be easier just to put a scope on my shotgun? I am struggling with seeing sights/bird combination. I decided to wear my glasses today and it seemed easier...your thoughts, recommendations?

I'm a big fan of having a scope on my turkey guns. My eyesight is pretty bad as well and I'm too stubborn to get glasses. Shooting with a scope has worked well for me for the last 7 or 8 years.

I'm gonna have to do something in the next few years too as my vision is far less sharp than before. Gonna try glasses and see how it goes.

I always carry my binocs deer and turkey hunting. Only my deer rifles are scoped. To read I need upper end reading glasses. To see the game with the naked eye and be able to see clearly through the scope they're much too strong. While hunting I drop down to the lowest rated glasses or wear none at all.
