However, over the past few days, rumors have circulated that some, specifically Alabama's Kalen DeBoer, have come looking for Fifita and, in response, his father has set the record straight. In a tweet on Sunday night, Les Fifita made it clear that no one from their family has been in contact with anyone involving the Crimson Tide.

Well I was being kind actually. But since you went all personal and stuff. What I really wanted to say was that was pretty cowardly. First putting up a fake memes that was created on social media and then taking it down in such a cowardly way when you figured out you had been had. But ok. Just like Burger King. Have it your way :)
Hiding behind a keyboard calling someone a coward is probably the most cowardly thing a POS can do, but I expect no less from a completely anonymous troll that nobody knows. Quite frankly, I may not agree with everything you say, as is my right, but, you are correct to the max.
Many people don't like me in person because I speak my mind. However, social media has made it very easy for folks to say things that they would never say to your face.

He's a QB from Arizona (I think). There is a meme going around on social media saying that DeBoer was trying to illegally recruit him to Bama. People jumped on the bandwagon to bash without fact checking just because it was about Bama.
I'll take my chances that Connor McGregor isn't the mentally ill trailer park troll that posts on TNDeer.
Nothing to do with memes or bandwagons, although Bandwagon Nation should be experts on that topic. Multiple sources were reporting that Arizona QB Les Fifiita's Dad was saying that DeBoer had inappropriately contacted his son in attempts to lure him to alabama. Then, all of the sudden the story changed 180 degrees and he says there was no contact. Were the first reports false or did alabama pony up the hush money? We'll never know, but, as alabama fans are famous for saying, "where there's this much smoke there's usually fire."

Tennessee is looking a lot better these days.
It has taken a big step forward from where it was and I'm happy the rivalry is competitive again.
I do throw jabs here on occasion but anything I say is meant as light hearted trash talk. I hope that's the way you took it.
I do the same but for some reason they don't ever seem to understand it's just friendly ribbing. After the years of mental anguish and beatdowns, they sniff the smallest bit of success instead of the dumpster, and once again we are now witnessing the true nature of the fan base and what made the rivalry so heated in decades past.

i love college football and i love tennessee. however, i decided long ago that i would not allow a game played by kids to dictate my emotional state. grown men name calling and mud slinging over a sport saddens me. i reckon its a byproduct of prosperity that we have the luxury of time and emotional/mental energy to expend on visceral emotions related to entertainment. though im not sure thats a good thing.
at any rate. football, like many things in life, is cyclical. there was a time in the not too distant past when bama was going through coaches named mike like my kids go through bags of goldfish. instead of mcdonalds bags there were trips to bobs boobie bungalow or some such establishment. tennessee won a few in a row. now tennessees been down a long time. itll all change again at some point. ill enjoy the games and root for the boys in orange.

Very wise words that I adopted a few years ago as well. It's a game that I had no personal involvement affecting the outcome.
This is where we differ, as I see it as cheap entertainment to push buttons and sit back and smile. I realize that I need to work on that, but it's tough
