Gil has become an insitution in the carp fishing world. The guy can catch carp in a mud puddle!

Sorry guys, I've been off the board for a while - just busy.
This was the year to kick my butt because I got hitched and honeymooned all during the tournament, but some of the major contenders (Brian Dunigan for example) didn't get to fish.
I only got to go twice. On my second trip, I caught a pretty big buffalo in the first fifteen minutes. I happened to see a line of slimy fish sipping crud off the top. That's a rare sight, and I got luckier than heck.
So yes, I was honored (but mostly lucky) to be the top trash dude for the month. The prizes were over-the-top nice this year. I got a really top-drawer rod and reel for one. Y'all need to join in the fun next year. We had a coule of kids on the leader board this year, and that makes it fun.
