They are made of corrugated cardboard with some type of finish so they do hold up in rain. They do blend in well. I don't use mine as often as I thought but it's nice to have on those days I don't feel like climbing a tree. They work better if you hunt on level areas or gently slopping terrain. Hard to look down because you are looking over the top while sitting. If you hunt below looking up a hill the deer could possibly see you. Uneven ground can make it a challenge to set up and they can be noisy in early morning if the ground is uneven. Correct chair is a must. I have one of the Bull Blind chairs that seems to work ok. If I had it to do over again not sure I would spend that much money on it but I'm glad I have it for those unique times. Good luck

Thanks that helps a lot . I ended up breaking my arm first part of aug. So I probably be hunting on the ground . Mostly be on a side of a hill looking down. I got a couple of ground blinds and mostly use the ghost blind for turkey.
