Getting started at 40

Almost 40 and got to go hunting with my dad today for the first time since I was a teenager. He's poured out his heart and turned out his closet and hooked me up with a cross bow and more gear than I'm ready for. He's shown me some spots and taught me some tricks and I couldn't be more excited to be getting into hunting. Better late than never! Happy to have a community here with so much experience. Hoping to contribute one day! Cheers!

Welcome to the site. I hunted and fished with my Dad for almost 30 years after I became an adult.

He passed away in 2012 and some of my best memories of him are from when we hunted together.
