Yes, we think alike. I know my wife gets tired of me talking what I'm doing next. But that's me 365 days, as long as the good Lord allows me too.

Season never really ends for me. I'm year round doing something deer hunting related. Most of the time while I'm sitting on stand I am mentally planning the off season, and I get to work pretty much as soon as I'm done hunting. The slowest part of the year for me in terms of deer hunting is the month before archery opener. Other than killing a few squirrels for the skillet I try letting the woods relax a bit without me. Otherwise deer hunting is on my mind 365 days of the year.

BSK made me think to start keeping a journal. This started last week when I went to the farm. I think it will pay off with cell phone pictures to help me remember.

I keep a hunting journal to. I didn't do as good of a job on it this year. But I have for several years. This year drove me crazy with how the deer acted compared to past years.
