As all well know on this site.
Just a reminder to those who want to get ahead of the game.
Blow off the dust of your bows, muzzleloaders, and rifles.
If you don't do your own cleaning and maintenance.
Take them to your gunsmiths get them cleaned, inspected, bore sighted, etc.
Every year I get the "mad" rush just a few days prior to the perspective season. And it can be overwhelming.
My biggest problem is the still loaded or double charged muzzleloaders. They appear to breed and increase every year.
And "can you do it while I wait, goin' hunting in the morning" 15 minutes before closing.
Remember be kind to your gunsmith.
A good gunsmith is a terrible thing to waste.
