I have some milo planted on our farm. I have also used it in summer fields for deer but not as a primary food source but to let lablab and cowpeas climb. This is my first experience with milo and I was wondering if the deer will hit it??
Also, if you were gonna plant some fruit trees for deer what would they be?

Yes deer will eat milo. I have about 1 acre planted right now and really like it as a edge around a field or existing food plot. Deer will hit it in the soft stage before it matures. If there is any left after it matures it will be good for your deer and turkey in late season. Pears, apples, persimmons are good for your deer. It will take a few years for them. Just be sure if you get pears or apples, be sure they will cross polinate.
