Geico Boat Insurance

Anyone have any experience with Geico Boat Insurance?? The premium for my boat is about 5 times less than with Alfa. Thinking seriously about changing.

I would just make sure they have an office you can go to if you need help. Insurance is just one of those things i would want to be local. Boat insurance is cheap at most places.

I always used progressive because it included on the water towing, highway as well I believe.

It was worth it to me to know they would send someone to get me in the remote places I fished without the accompanying $3000 bill.

I doubt that is as important here in TN though.

It paid off one time when I was in the shark river and my old e-tech decided to blow up. 55 miles through the Everglades back country and I paid zero.

My insurance is through BoatUS, however Geico is their underwriter. I've had three claims in 15 years via BoatUS, the most recent since they've been using Geico. In all three cases the response and outcome was excellent.

Same here with boat us but written through Geico. Never made a claim but there rates were competitive.

Farm Bureau is who I use..... although never made a claim.
