Geese as Nuisance

I have a flock of geese on the neighborhood lake who have taken up crapping all over my driveway every morning. Can I shoot them?

They are federally protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. You will need a depredation permit from the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to shoot any out of season.

Contact the USFWS office in Atlanta about the permit.
