I imagine that your home wifi has to reach those antennas.
You can connect to the camera with your phone to download pictures via wifi/Bluetooth as long as you are within 30-45 foot of the camera. At least that's the advertised distance. There is a GardePro phone app you use to connect to them. Others on here will likely chime in with their experiences.

If I have to be within 100feet I don't see a great advantage. Unless I hang em high and don't want to climb to retrieve a card. Someone tell me why I could get good use of a wifi camera.

You answered it yourself.

And like this user stated:

Thanks for posting. I've got a regular camera hung high watching my cabin and it's a pain to check it. No cell service in the area. I will give this a try.

Personally, I have used a single climbing stick with aider to hang cameras 10+ foot high for surveillance purposes or to remain undetected from both other hunters and deer. However sometimes I don't want to have to carry that stick in with me when i'm already carrying a climbing stand, my hunting clothes, weapon, etc. With one of these cams, no need to carry the stick. Just open up the app, download pics to phone, go on your way.

I understand the skepticism though. I was skeptical too at first until the times I thought to myself "wish I didn't have to carry this stick in a mile just to check that camera". Then I read posts from multiple users on here who really like them.

And for this price, its hard to beat! Even if this model wasn't wifi/bluetooth, the GardePros still are as good of cameras as the main brand ones for the same price (or even more).

For being cheap Chinese cameras, they are pretty darn good cameras! They take the best video and sound of any camera I own.

Good cams. Here are a couple pics from the 2 have here
