Garde Pro cell cameras

I've just about phased out all of my cams for the GardePro and Meidasse cams. Got dozens of them, many still unopened in boxes because I buy them up when Amazon has deals. But I've not tried the cell versions nor heard much about them.

The Garde Pro A60s I have produce great video and sound quality and unbelievably long night flash range. However, I know for a fact they are missing pictures fairly frequently.

I'm using them for monitoring my largest food plots. The powerful night flash is critical for reaching out across the long distances. And so much activity occurs in food plots that some missed video opportunities aren't as critical as other areas. But for the areas where I don't want to miss a single video opportunity, I'm sticking with the Brownings, which very rarely fail to trigger.

That's surprising to me. I've only got a half dozen ish A60's so not much experience yet with them, but so far they're doing fine for me. Im not a fan of the false trigger sensitivity adjustment and I'd guess that's what could be causing your issue. The preceeding A5 doesn't have that option and doesn't miss a thing. In fact it appears to have lots of false triggers until you zoom in close to see a mouse or chipmunk or small bird that triggered the take.

I'm going to try turning that off to see if it makes a difference.
 
One odd positive for the Garde Pro is video file size. I don't know why, but the file size of the videos is much less than the Brownings. This means you can get more videos on the same size card using the Garde Pro. 10-second videos from the Garde Pro are only 3-11M, while 10-second videos from the Brownings are 25-31M at the same resolution.
 
Yes bought 2 last year. The biggest issue with them is the app. Its glitchy and the videos come through almost frame by frame instead of constant. They take great pictures and I had a browning regular camera in the same spot as one. And they both got the same pictures. So trigger speed is good. Mine went through batteries more then my other cameras. I tried one in great service and one in poor both connected fine. I use regular batteries in all my cameras. The one in poor area went dead in 3 weeks, a tactacam 200 yards away I get roughly 3 months out of. The one in good service 1 month dead. I rarely have to change batteries in that area (lower deer density) they need major app improvements before I would buy again. Sometimes I would go 24 to 32 hours without being able to see the pictures on the app even though they would come through. Impressed with the camera especially at the price point but won't buy their cells again most likely. Data is also more then my others. But you get a 30 day free trail. Or did.
 
I have several Meidase cell cameras. They work great, very reliable, plans are reasonably priced, and the pictures are okay. The video clips they send to your phone leave a lot to be desired. But, otherwise, mine have been great. No complaints. Pair them with a decent solar panel and they operate on and on with no batteries.
