For an all around hunting rifle, I've been happy with my Nontypical in 7 WSM

I am ordering one in the future for punchin holes in paper and milk jugs and some hunting if need be. i am thinking 308 crusader or i like the gladius too!

It's not too hard to find a used, but well cared for Rock for around $2200.

They will make it for you...but I would get the 6mm crusader or maybe a 6.5 crusader.

why a 6mm? i was looking at one the other day and did not see that big an advantage over a 243.

plus i already reload 25-06.

but looks like there would be a wait on a 25-06, 308's are ready to roll out the door. waiting along time on them to build my gun might be a decision maker!!

I've been dream'n of a Daisy red rider with a tube from a roll of papaer towles for a scope, a empty 2 liter sun drop bottle for a "silencer" and a old belt for a tac sling, hope'n it will shoot a 6 inch group at a hundred...inches. ( i just had to guys,couldnt stop myself)

George Gardner shoots the 6mm crusader. Necks are longer so you can seat the bullets out farther to touch the lands and you can get more powder in the case.
