I like Talley mounts better myself they have 4 bolts per ring compared to 2 and price wise talleys is the same or cheaper every gun I own has talley mounts now that's how good I like them

Dednutz mounts are very good mounts. I'd use them, but I'm stuck on Talley's.
Should be fine with the Lows and a 40mm OBJ scope.
Most 40mm scopes will work fine in low rings/mounts but there are rare times they won't at least without useing extension rings.
Have heard seen those but I will keep using the old Leupold STD (Redfield) when I can.

sighted my 270 wsm with the dead nutz today I just bore sighted with my eye and put 6 rounds in about 3 inches at 100 yds a little high buts thats the way I like it.
