he can actually make some decent sounds on it lol. We went deer hunting for the first time this year but he was way more into the turkeys we say each time....he just kept saying "daddy, shoot them things lol"

Now thats starting them out right. Congrats.
Been trying to get my boys into it but when they go, we don't hear anything or they (birds) won't cooperate. Then when I don't take them, I kill one. The Boys say "everytime I go, we don't hear nothing and when you go by yourself, you kill one". Hopefully things will change this year.

Thats awesome! My little guy is 1 1/2 years old and I cant wait to get him in the woods!
Mine will be 4 in feb but did GREAT deer hunting this year, we will try turkeys in the spring but no matter what happens it will be a good time!
I took my son on his first hunt which was deer when he was 4. He killed his first deer at 7 and his first turkey at 8. It's at the taxidermist now getting a full body mount done. He'll be 9 in March and hope to get him on many more.

Very nice. My little will be almost 4 by the time turkey season rolls around and she says she wants to go with me and hear them gobble. We will see if she wants to get out of bed. lol
