I was hunting Spring Creek Hunt club in Hardeman County and at mid morning i came out of woods and went to visit a buddy at his house (in the country) he had 2 pet gobblers. he could make those Gobble at anything. Another buddy called wanting to know where i was at (before i phone locations services) and told him in a Whisper i was across the creek from him and i was trying to get 2 Turkeys to get into range. My other buddy would make his gobblers GOBBLE. Buddy across creek was about ready to start creeping across bottom to help me.... had him on a string for 20 minutes... never told him any different....
we had so much fun with that....

That was a horrible thing to do,
I'd have a hard time dealing with that one , as a friend. Lol.

Low down and dirty, but you're right- that's pretty funny.

I had some tame turkeys gobbling years ago, from a farm that borders public land.
When I posted about it here, several guys said I was a DA for not being able to tell the difference in their gobble, wild vs tame. ??

A turkey is a turkey right? Never seen a call say it was for wild or tame turkeys.
