Funny Catch

Dang bird... A black crown night heron swooped down and grabbed the shad I was free lining when i turned around to look at a bald eagle flying around... It was released unharmed once we got the hook out. Had a pretty good morning catching fish... A buffet of White bass, small mouth, catfish, striped bass... Dad had a good time.

I've had several gulls do that while fishing in the Keys. Only got one to the boat. He wasn't happy, but he was able to fly away.

Seen somebody trolling down the river while I was setting at the little park between Clinton and Oak Ridge today eating lunch, wish I was with them, nice center console boat.

A guy I used to fish with had a bat get his lure in the air mid cast. Nice fish!
